SUA received Jean Monnet Networks Plaque

The Education Audiovisual and Culture Education Agency(EACEA) awarded the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra by the Jean Monnet Networks Plaque. The SUA in Nitra was awarded by the Jean Monnet Plaque within the project of the Jean Monnet Networks: Sustainable Soil Management in Europe, no. 564651-EPP-1-2015-1-SK- EPPJMO NETWORK.

EACEA awards the plaque  to the institutions that coordinate the actions of the Jean Monnet Program and demonstrate the quality of education in the field of European integration studies. The plaque also serves as a tool for promoting the Jean Monnet Program within and outside the coordinating institution. The Jean Monnet Program is a support program of the European Union and its aim is to promote an excellence in teaching and research in the field EU studies around the world. These actions will support the dialogue between academia and policy makers, particularly with the aim of strengthening the management of EU policies. The studies of the EU emphasize the European integration process in terms of its internal and external aspects. This discipline also includes the role of the EU in a globalized world and promotes an active European citizenship and dialogue between people and cultures.

Currently, the Jean Monnet Programs are in progress in more than 80 countries around the world.
